What is more summery then Lemon? It’s fresh, citrusy, and just seems to brighten any mood!
Now take that zing of lemon, mix it in with lavender; and you got yourself the perfect summer morning latte.
This little taste of heaven is the perfect summer morning beverage as the lemon adds a fresh and uplifting vibe while the lavender provides the rich flavor, creating a harmonious combination.
Sounding delicious yet? Well it should!
So here is how you make the Lemon Lavender Latte!
Start by steeping a teaspoon and a half of lavender tea for 3-5 minutes. I buy my loose leaf lavender tea from a local tea shop here in Albuquerque called Figments! Here is the link to their website!
After steeping, remove the tea bag and add in the lemon extract and honey.
Froth the half & half and slowly pour into the mixture. I use this frother to not only warm the milk but froth it at the same time ( I absolutely love it!).
I poured my latte into these super cute glass mugs I got from Amazon and I garnished my latte with lemon zest!
Give it a quick stir and enjoy!
