When I first turned 21, wine was not my thing. But after trying out a few different types and brands, I have found that I really do enjoy drinking wine! I am a huge fan of dry reds, in particular I love Cabernet Sauvignons and have recently been enjoying Malbecs (suggested by my sister, Dela).
So for Christmas, I figured I’d try out this Mulled Wine drink and let me tell you, it is totally worth it! This is a new favorite of mine and may have to be a drink we make every Christmas. Full of fruit and spice flavors with the wine to help out your mood, can’t see how anyone wouldn’t enjoy this bad boy!
For my mulled wine, I used a cabernet sauvignon from a local winery. I have heard of other people using a sweet red or a combination of a sweet and dry red.
